Reynolds Community College Preview Night and Transfer Fair is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29th from 5p – 7p on the Parham Road Campus. 4 week rigorous and intense online course offered by Longwood University. The course satisfies the state's economics and personal finance requirements as well as the online experience and certification requirements for high school graduation. The WISE Financial Literacy Certification post exam is administered in the course. Students will receive honors credit (.50) as well as college credit for those students who successfully complete this class with a C or better and later enroll in Longwood University as a degree seeking student will receive a 3-credit scholarship.
When: June 19-July 15, 2017- *Students are required to take their final exam on Longwood University's campus during the last week of the course.

The Richmond Chapter of the National Hampton Alumni Association is sponsoring a bus trip to Hampton University for High School Day on April 7, 2017. They are excited to extending an invitation to Sophomore and Junior students who are interested in attending.
Only three students per high school can attend, so please let your school counselor know if you are interested.
Emails were just sent out to parents and students notifying them of acceptance or non-acceptance into the Online Summer Health & PE class. Online Summer Health & PE registration is March 20-March 31. Registration ends on March 31 at 4:00. If you were accepted into Online Summer Health & PE, don’t forget to register! The cost for Summer Online Health & PE is $300.

On April 5th, from 7-8 PM, Deep Run will host the Henrico County School Counseling Department in sharing information on how parents can recognize signs of depression and other mental health concerns in their children. Learn how to initiate a conversation with your child about these topics and how to get them (or one of their friends) help.

Sweet Briar Sampler: Open House for High School Seniors, Transfer and Adult Students - a one-day event designed to introduce high school seniors, transfer and adult students to Sweet Briar College. Receive a same-day decision when you complete your application, along with all required documents. Attend an information session, find out everything you need to know about residence life and financial aid, and explore our beautiful campus! You may also meet with athletic coaches and visit the Harriet Howell Rogers Riding Center, the Fitness and Athletics Center or the Art Barn.

For traditional, face-to-face courses, registration starts April 3rd and runs through June 8th. Two additional registration periods are held on June 20th (12-3 PM) and 21st (8 AM - 12 PM). Classes start June 26th and end August 3rd.
For online courses, please check out the class syllabi here to learn more about the expectations for each course offered. Online classes start June 5th; a midterm is held on June 29th, and the final exam is on August 2nd. Registration starts April 17th and ends April 28th. Each Henrico course is $300; if you take two courses, the cost is $450 total.
